During Internet Party 2008, Clogger Team had conducted a program called “CloggersCorner”. The CloggersCorner’s booth was a place for blogger meet up, show, train and discuss.
On the first day of the Internet Party, nearly 40 people attend the Blogger Show and training. And on the second day of the Internet Party, 45 bloggers has met and discussed.

Within the CloggersCorner’s booth there are 10 desktop for everyone access Internet, using Khmer Unicode and Khmer Software. During the event KhmerOS has conduct a small Unicode contest with 20 people registered.
The fastest got reward : 1package of JXII gift (T-shirt, CD, poster) and 1 ICT Textbook.

CloggersCorner was a program created by volunteers from Cambodia blogger aka Clogger to join the Internet Party 2008 event at Sovanna Shopping Center.
The 2 days of Internet Party 2008 was remain in memory that there are many participants and 20 boots showing their products and services. The most crowded was at performance stage, and crowded boots were JXII, Online and CloggersCorner, coz of these 3 booths has their own activities to attract people.
On the last date from 5:00pm to 6:30, it was a meet up with 40 Cloggers to discuss and showing everyone’s opinion. During the meet up we had a party called “Clogger Party”.

Last week, I had attended and participated in Youth Fair activity at pursat province. It’s 2 days event (Sat-Sun), started from 7:30 am till 10:00pm. There are many activities during this fair such as : Maraton, Company and NGO exhibition, Seminar session, Interactive session, Job and schoolarship opportunity, using Internet, using Khmer Unicode and Khmer Software, concert at night etc…
In my booth everyone can using Internet for free (provided by Mfone – IPSTAR), practice Khmer Unicode Typing, understanding Khmer software both Linux OS and applications.
I noticed that many young people in Purstat can use internet for email, using facebook and youtube, and they are also can type Khmer Unicode.
I had introduced WeBlog, they are very interesting. As Internet available the can creat Blog respectively.
This book is a full color textbook. It contained 9 chapters with 34 lessons.

Editorial and Author Committee
On 22 January 2008, the Ministry of Education cooperated with Open Institute had launched ceremony of the Khmer language ICT textbook for schools and teacher training institutes, and inauguration of the Low Cost Computing Research Laboratory for Education under the framework of ICT Master Plan Development at National Institute of Education and presided by H.E Im Sethy, Secretary of State, Ministry of Education Youth and Sport.
The new ICT Textbook is the new reference ICT textbook for all schooling levels, teacher training institutions, and the administration of MoEYS. Its distribution to all of the marks the end of the first stage of Open School Program. Teachers from all upper secondary schools that has computers-as well as educators from all teacher training centers-have already been trained to teach Khmer Language computer application.
The Low Cost Computing Research Laboratory for Education is the first one – worldwide – to look specifically at the issue of sustainability of school facilities in developing countries. It will analyze the costs of software, hardware, electricity, maintenance and training of teachers.
